The Introductory Path Program
Through weekly classes at detention facilities and schools, youth experience a unique learning culture supported by a community of peers and volunteer instructors. Participation is voluntary, via word of mouth referral and outreach.

Study topics of health, arts, physical and social sciences are used to guide deeper self-awareness, with a focus on:

Knowledge-building learning history, science, skills and arts that expand one's intellectual and intuitive capacities
Relationship-building gaining skills in exchanging care with others and connecting deeply to the human and natural worlds
Inner awareness discovery of one's inner landscape of emotions, thoughts and patterns of behavior

The Introductory Path program also serves as our launch pad for preparing youth to enter the Vision Youthz Community Care Program.

Vision Youthz' Volunteer Community has devoted over 20,000 hours to Introductory Path students and the creation of a powerful, user-friendly curriculum that continues to be refined. This curriculum will be accredited for high school, and tailored to assist and inspire other youth.

Running in three semesters annually, Introductory Path concludes each semester with rites of passage and graduation ceremonies--offering tangible achievement, confidence-building, and developmental milestones. Introductory Path graduation ceremonies have celebrated the achievements of more than 180 students so far.
