Volunteering at Vision Youthz
|
"I had to let go of a lot to
allow myself to give to a population that I had previously held in
disregard. These courageous and hopeful young men brought a value to my
life that I had previously not known and taught me what giving was really about. "

(detention or school)
Introduce youth to Vision Youthz as you instruct a group or individual
for a full semester or present a one-time workshop.
- Semester
instruction: one-on-one coach, assistant group instructor, lead
group instructor
- Short-term
instruction: workshop presenter, guest speaker
In community-based settings:
Partner with an individual youth to help with accessing community
resources and achieving goals in education, employment, relationships,
